v1.20.0 2025-11-18

Enhancements

  • Enhanced Report PDF Header Information: All report PDF exports have been updated to include key contextual details at the top for improved clarity and professionalism. The header now displays the Business Name, Location Name, the Report Title with its type, and the Reporting Period in the format: “From (Start Date) to (End Date)”.
  • Item Grid Column Count Setting in POS Terminal : Added a configuration option to control how many item cards appear per row in the POS terminal (1/2/3 columns).
  • Pin Items in POS Terminal: Users can now mark items as pinned during item creation. These pinned items will then display first in the POS terminal for faster access.
  • Cheque Cancellation Enhancement: Users can now cancel cheques that are in either the In-Drawer or Returned (Representable) statuses. This added flexibility streamlines cheque management and reduces the need for manual intervention in exceptional cases
  • Payment Stop Status for Out Cheques: Users can now mark an Out Cheque as Payment Stopped, which will automatically cancel the associated payment.
  • Dynamic Customer/Supplier Filter in Outstanding Report: The Outstanding Report now updates the party filter based on the selected - Enhanced Filtering in Outstanding Report: Users can now filter the Outstanding Report using the Customer or Supplier filter.

Fixes

  • Cheque Deletion Confirmation: Previously, the modal would immediately close. It now remains open until the user manually selects 'Confirm' or 'Cancel'
  • Create Customer Modal on Quotation Page: Resolved an issue where clicking the Create Customer button on the Create Quotation page did not open the customer creation modal. The modal now opens correctly, allowing users to add new customers during quotation creation.

Enhancements

  • Cancel Payment Option in Payments Module: Now user can cancel payments, ensuring that all related modules Sales, Purchases, Expenses, and Reports are updated accurately across the system.
  • Handle Returns Based on Payment Status with Correct Order: Improved the return process to allow returns for fully paid and unpaid (due) sales or purchase orders, while partially paid orders now require the remaining balance to be paid before processing the return.

New features

  • Cash Out Function for POS Terminal: Allows cashiers to withdraw or deposit cash from the drawer without creating a sale, and now displays cash transactions for each shift on the POS session page and session detailed page.
  • Expense Report: Displays all expenses recorded during a selected period for better financial tracking.
  • Outstanding Report: Displays all pending or incomplete sales, purchases, sales returns, and purchase returns that are yet to be completed or settled.

Enhancements

  • Payment Report – Report Type Filter: Added a new Report Type filter with Summary and Details views. Summary groups data by payment method, while Details shows invoice-wise transactions. Columns update automatically based on the selected report type.
  • Invoice Return Discount Handling: Improved the system to correctly handle sales returns and purchase returns for sales and purchase orders that include fixed discounts.
  • Add Note Field to GDN: Added a Note field in the GDN creation page to store extra dispatch information.
  • Display Dispatch Status in Sales List: Sales List now shows dispatch status such as pending, partial and completed.
  • Show Invoice Code in GDN Creation: The invoice code is now displayed when create GDN page for easier identification.
  • Order Edit Button in Order Details Page: Added an Edit button on the Order Details page.

New features

  • Terms and Conditions (T&C) Management – Introduced a centralized T&C Management feature with full CRUD functionality, allowing users to create, manage, and assign reusable T&C templates across invoices and documents. Added “Show Terms and Conditions” toggles in Print Settings and dropdown options in General Settings to set default T&Cs. During invoice creation (Sales invoice, Sales Return invoice and Quotation invoice), the system auto-loads the default T&Cs with an option to view and change before saving or printing (create sale page).

Enhancements

  • New dashboard widget – Added a new dashboard widget to display Payment In vs Payment Out.
  • Top trending item widgets enhancement – The top trending items, previously shown based on value only, are now displayed in two separate widgets: Quantity-wise and Revenue-wise top trending items.
  • Default item discount enhancement – Improved the item form discount UI with real-time calculation. When creating an item, the discounted price is now automatically calculated and displayed instantly based on the selected default discount.
  • Item categories table enhancement – Added new “Category Path” and “Items Count” columns to the item categories table. The category path displays the full hierarchy, while the items count is shown with a blue badge for better visual clarity. Categories show their full path for improved navigation.
  • Rich Text Editors for Description Fields – Added rich text editors (bold, italic, underline, bullets, numbering, and links) to enhance text formatting and readability in key description inputs.To: Sales Create/POS: Primary and Secondary Description fields; Item Create and Edit :Item Description field and terms and conditions.
  • Bulk Action Framework (Cheque Management) – Introduced bulk selection and status update features for cheques, forming the base for future bulk operations.Key Functions: Select All/Deselect All options, validation for eligible status changes, confirmation dialog, and full transaction logging for traceability.

Fixes

  • Customer selection issue in sale – Fixed an issue where, upon creating a business customer in the Sale or POS page, the customer selection dropdown showed the contact person’s name instead of the business customer’s name.
  • Fixed issue in Recent Sale modal / Table now stays properly inside the modal on small screen sizes.
  • Fixed issue in POS Terminal / Item category breadcrumbs now scroll correctly when subcategories exceed available space.
  • Fixed issue in Item Create/Edit discount display / Percentage discounts now correctly show as percentage in edit instead of being incorrectly displayed as a fixed amount.
  • Fixed issue with default quotation discount / Discounts added in the settings now correctly apply automatically when creating or updating a quotation.
  • Fixed shortcut key functionality / Shortcut keys now work properly on POS Terminal and Order Convert pages; removed shortcut options from headers on Add Items in Order, Create Table Order, and Edit Order pages.

Enhancements

  • POS Recent Sales – Added search option,show payment status,show customer phone number,show 100 recent sales, and replaced action dropdown with separate buttons.
  • Save and Print Button – Added a “Save and Print” button in the recent sale make payment option alongside the existing “Save” button; both work at all times.
  • Added Smart Customer Search. If no match is found, a “Add Customer” button appears to quickly create a new customer with the entered phone number pre-filled.

  • Display Location field for Delivery Orders - Location now visible on KOT screen and POS invoice / Ensures kitchen, bar, and delivery teams can see the delivery location for accurate order processing.
  • KOT/BOT Screen Customer Details - Registered customer details for Delivery and Call Orders are now shown in a single line for better readability / Customer contact number removed for Takeaway orders.
  • Delivery Charge Setting and POS Display - Added Delivery Charge field in Sale Settings, similar to Service Charge setup,Delivery charge automatically applies to Delivery orders, displayed in POS, and added to total order amount.,Only numeric values allowed for the delivery charge.

Fixes

  • Fixed issue with Order Void - Previously, voiding the last item marked the order as cancelled even if other items were completed / Now, the order is cancelled only after all items are voided.
  • Fixed issue with Terms of Service link on the login page - Clicking the link now correctly redirects to the PixzarPOS | Terms & Conditions page instead of showing a 404 error.
  • Fixed KOT/BOT screen sound issue - Sound now plays correctly in the live system as it does locally.
  • Excess Amount Calculation & Credit Matching:Excess amounts are now recalculated correctly when a payment is cancelled (e.g., returned cheque).
  • Fixed Credit Matching issues:Payment records now display correctly in Sale - Sale Return List, Details, Print Documents, and Payment Mode sections,Status of related Sale or Sale Return updates correctly to reflect settlement.
  • Issue on Bulk Payment Incorrect Payment Details Display - When the user selects Bank Transfer as the payment method during bulk payment, Card Payment details are incorrectly displayed.
